EUCALYPTUS + LAVENDER + MINT

Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas is a nonprofit organization solely dedicated to presenting emerging Black arts, artists, and ideas in the Seattle area. This candle was crafted specially for CD Forum for Arts & Ideas and blends sweet peppermint with tingly, earthy eucalyptus and the natural aroma of lavender flowers for a refreshing spa-like scent. Hints of cedarwood add depth that make this a perfect year-round fragrance. This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils, including eucalyptus oil, cornmint oil, cedarwood oil, and patchouli oil.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

CD Forum empowers Black artists and builds community through art. We provide one-of-a-kind artistic, culinary, and community experiences that lift artists and engage the community. We believe in the value of community, creativity, identity and passion. These values serve as our strategic frame and guide day-to-day operations and program decisions.

We work out of the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute, an ADA-compliant facility rich with culture and history.

Over 15 years later, the work at You Grow Girl! has evolved and is rooted in the deep belief that girls from chronically under-resourced populations, especially girls of color, must be accepted for their authentic selves and supported by a community of true allies that amplifies gender, economic, and racial justice.

You Grow Girl! empowers youth to become leaders to promote economic equity and opportunity for not only themselves but other sisters throughout Washington State, and beyond.
