One month will never be enough time to sufficiently celebrate the many contributions ofBlack folks to history and culture. However, every February, we do what we can to stay lit! For the entire month, 10% of the proceeds from each Black History Month Candle will be donated to Seattle University's Black Student Union Scholarship, the first student-led, Black-serving scholarship at Seattle University. The Black Student Union Scholarship is intended to increase enrollment of Black and African-American students and help them persist and graduate with fewer financial concerns.

All of our scents are rooted in nostalgia, culture, good vibes and self-care. Each candle is hand poured in small batches especially for you. While every effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle may be a little different and may have some minor imperfections. This will not affect performance or scent.
 
We use wooden wicks in all of our candles. We love the calming crackling sound that wooden wicks produce (whew, chile the ambiance!), but that's not all; wooden wicks are eco-friendly, they burn slower and last longer than cotton wicks, and they release fragrance better and faster.
